Jason Sehorn spent his childhood in his hometown in California, and after elementary school, he moved to Mount Shasta, where he attended Mount Shasta High School. There he began playing football and excelled at it. Later, Jason spent his first two years of college education at the Shasta College, playing football for the university team in the positions of wide receiver, punt returner and kick returner. However, after two years, he transferred to the University of South California, where he continued to play football, but this time in the position of safety, as his natural position of wide receiver was full.

After college, Jason entered the 1994 NFL Draft, from which he was selected as the 59th overall pick by the New York Giants. He played for the Giants until the 2002 season, which largely increased his net worth. In his first two seasons, Jason didn`t see much playing time, but that changed in 1997 season, which was his best at the Giants. However, he then suffered an injury which kept him sidelined for the entire 1998 season, namely, he tore his anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments, at a preseason game against the New York Jets.

Jason returned the next year, but his performance was nowhere near the level it was before the injury, which eventually resulted in his release from the club on the 7th March 2003. After that, he signed a contract with the St. Louis Rams, which further added to his net worth, however, his time at the Rams was short, as he failed his physical the next year, and was eventually waived.

After retirement, Jason started looking for engagement outside sports, and soon found a job at the Sonic Automotive, where he now serves as director of communications, which has also increased his net worth. However, in 2011 his net worth increased further, as he joined the ESPNU, working as an analyst of the college football, for Thursday and Saturday games. Apart from these careers, Jason Sehorn has appeared in one episode of the NBC TV series “Third Watch”, which helped add to his net worth.

When it comes to speak about his personal life, Jason Sehorn has been married to actress Angie Harmon since 2001; the couple has three daughters, but recent news is that they have separated. Previously, he was in a short-lived marriage with former CNN correspondent Whitney Casey(1998-99). He is also known as a big supporter of the Republican party.
